gsmsikar, If your player is working with no problems on the firmware you have used then there is no need to change it.
If your player has shown a decrease in memory it is possibly because your player had a hacked memory chip and flashing or formating has removed the hack and know your player is showing it's true size which I suspect is really a 256MB chip. To confirm this check the serial number of your memory chip with this list of Samsung and Hynix chips http://www.mympxplayer.org/samsung-a...rs-vt1692.html |

if my player had a hacked memory chip and flashing or formating has removed the hack then why was it accepting the full 512mb songs before being faulty ? as i have seen in the link about my Memory chip it is shown HY27UF082G2M (2GigaBit) = 256MB... then can it work as full 512mb by any hack? |
and can anyone tell me what is the highest bitrate mp3 songs it can support ?
can it support 320kbps and VBR bitrate songs ? please reply... |
gsmsikar,
Hacked chips will appear to run as normal but as you add and remove files you start having problems with file corruption, resets, player restarts and error warnings. If your player died in the begining for no apparent reason there is a pretty good chance it was because of the hacked chip. I have no trouble playing 320K mp3 files however even using Seinhaussen CX300 earbuds I find the difference in the quality of 320K and 128K is not noticable and the file size more than doubles. |
but i am having a problem in playing some 320K or VBR files , it gives FILE ERROR after sometime ...
