unable to load past certain no of songs and player restarts

i recently bought 2 gb mp4 player from ebay.in .but i was unable to load more than certain no of songs and the player used to restart after it.so when i read abt the hacked mp3 player i tried the encrypting using the supplied software and now the plater is showing only 108 mb of space.so,what should i do?can u plz suggest me somthing?

instrumentation, I would guess your player has a 128MB chip with 20MB allocated to firmware. There is nothing you can do to fix this as your player was not really a 2GB to start with. To verify your chips true size you need to open your player and check the serial number of your chip against this list of Samsung and Hynix chips.

You should also take a photo that clearly displays the chip details to verify your players true memory size along with written third party verification of this.
