bloody OVERFLOW

hey
I've just noticed that my old post has been deleted. I guess I can thank the "hacker" for that.
So tadad, to answer ur question i get the overflow error when i try to access everything exept the radio on the player. The player is working fine until i turn on the music/video/JPR/e-Book player. and then it just turns of (without the log out screen). I think the error may lie in a folder (playlist) in the player which for some weird reson became corrupted and i cant even deilete it. Is says 'Cannot read from source file". I'm guessing an formant may fix this, but let me hear what u have to say first OK?

That's really freaky your original post was here a while ago.

Binh (admin) had posted that he had encountered the problem once with a player that had a faulty memory chip, he recommended a format.

If you are having file corruption I would have to agree, a format and perhaps an error check in case you have any bad sectors.

I fixed it

It needed a format.
Hmmm, but now i notice these little kinda horizontal stripes on the screen (like the doesn't get enough power, or has lost some of it's "juice" or something). I forgot to mention them in my post. The appered along with the problem. Maybe it is my imagination, but do u have some advices?

Zephyron, You may have also suffered some corruption in your firmware, try re-loading your backup.

Zephyron, are these lines application-specific (eg. only in music, video...), or are they always there, EVEN when booting/shutting down?
If they are always there, it could be some hardware failure (either some pixels on the screen 'died', or your screens controller is failing to show everything.), and you should replace the player, if possible. If not, try to bear with these lines, and if you have changed firmware, try with original one, as tadad1 said.
