Unable to extract Firmware !!!

Just got my mp4 player, been tryin to extract my firmware using the said s1ext program (spelling!!!). Keep getting an error upon extraction saying "not able to determine firmware type" ??? Help !!! :roll:

Depends on what chipset your player is using. s1fwx will only work on ACTION chipsets but there are also SIGMATEL and SUNPLUS players.
Download Easy Chips and run it to find your chip type.

I tried running the EasyChip software, but i get an unable to run with operating system error. I am running windows XP ???
