Default help on 256MB player sigmatel based marketed by HP Invent/


i have a 256MB Mp3 player which was given by HP in their promotional offer on laser printers, in the mp3 player only one thing is written and that is "HP INVENT" and it is made by Yifang Digital Technologies Co. Ltd, CHINA

Problem :-
now the problem in the player is it is not working , when we press the switch on button the LCD display shows a dull characters display and switches off in seconds . i want to recover it how to recover it ?

i then opened it and the details are as below :-
PCB Details = EM706B-V1.0 2004.10.12
Chipset = SIGMATEL STMP3502
Memory = Hynix HY27UF082G2M (2GigaBit) = 256MB


after searching the internet i found some extra details of this player ,
the design of this player and the model no of this player is matching with a russian make Easydisk.
Easydisk EM706X 256 Mb FM + Line-in-Function.

please help me recover it , where can i get the firmwares and other details on recovering it ?
