Re: HELP PLEASE

elsharkawy, did you buy a nano-clone or Ipod Nano? But i assume it to be a nano-clone.
It is likely your player's memory was hacked to show "4GB", when it is physically just a 128MB memory chip. The format removed the memory hack to show the real memory size in your player. There is nothing you can do to regain the "4GB".
I would suggest that you contact your seller for a refund.

I agree with lattesurf.

At the moment, there isn't a proper 4GB player, all of them so far have been 'hacked' to show more memory than it actually has in the player.

By formatting it, you have 'wiped' out the hack, displaying the true memory.

Sorry to bear you the bad news. If it's only a new player, I would suggest you let the seller know and ask for a refund as 108MB is really small!!

Re: The capacity changed from 4 GB to 108 MB

elsharkawy , have you actually tried to play all the 2GB of files that you copied in? If your memory is only 128MB, but realistically only 108MB. Any files copied in after 108MB mark would have errors, you won't be able to play them even if the hacked memory shows "4GB". You would be able to see the filenames, directories of all the 2GB files that you copied in, but they are just empty files.
