Re: big battery problem

flaviorodrigues, have you charged it for at least 3-4hours? Try charging for at least this amount of time. Also, try charging with the AC adaptor if it comes with it.
If all these still fail, it's likely that your battery could be damaged/old and does not hold its charge as it should. There are replacement batteries available on eBay Here. But it involves you opening the player and desolder the old battery out and solder the new one in.

Re: big battery problem

flaviorodrigues , the AC adaptor sometimes is not accurate. Even when the battery is full, sometimes it'll still show the red light for charging. But since you have charged for 9hours and still the same, it is likely that your battery is damaged or old and does not hold it's charge.
Just one more thing, try with another USB cable (if you have) on another USB port on your computer. If it still persists, then you have no choice but to either exchange for a replacement set or change the battery yourself.

Re: big battery problem

flaviorodrigues , i'm not sure of Portugal's power socket voltage and frequency. But you should be able to charge your player fully using the USB ports irregardless of the power supply voltage & frequency.
From the looks of it, it seems that your battery is damaged/old and does not hold its charge well. It's either you contact your seller for replacement, or purchase a replacement battery and change it yourself.

Ive just bought two of the damn things, one for me the other for my father in law! Was it a big mistake? may be... I too am having problems with battery life, both with charging via the PC and also using the adaptor.
Cant seem to get it to work.
Also having trouble deleting image folders from the system. I tested the capacity by downloading 3.5gb of photos. It didnt seem to like this but tried to cope!

Does anybody have a good way of charging the units i.e do you switch it off or leave it on?
