Default Request could not be performed because of I/O device error


PLEASE HELP ME
WHEN I OPEN MY MP3PLAYER/FLASHDISK oN MY COMPUTER IT SAYS
"THE REQUEST COULD NOT BE PERFORMED BECAUSE OF AN I/O DEVICE ERROR."
PLEASE HELP ME HOW TO MAKE IT WORK AGAIN... MY MOM WILL BE MAD AT ME....

leonard00,

Don't worry, here are some things to try and some questions for you:


1. Has it ever worked on that computer?

2. Try connecting to ANOTHER USB port instead on that same computer. See if that helps.

3. Try connecting your player to another computer instead. See if that works.

4. If you have one, use another USB cable as well in case it's a problem with the USB cable.


Try those and let us know of the result.

i tried aLL of them...
any otheR coMMents??

Maybe restarting the computer with the player still attached can help?
