thi ! i`m new and i tried to use the manual but the program s1fwx doesn`t detect my mp4 player blusens iblu 1017

what can i do??

luis_almansa,
s1fwx will only work on Action chipset players, your player could be using a Sigmatel or Sunplus chipset. Please provide more details about your player, and what video format does it use, what is the firmware version?
There is a program called EasyChips in the download section that may help you identify your chipset.

its a Sigmatel chipset with this firmware version: 002.611.000

suports smv video,mp3,wma and jpg

If it's Sigmatel, then unfortunately the s1fwx tool won't be able to detect your player and won't be able to extract the firmware from it.

There is a Sigmatel firmware extractor available for download from our website, however, it doesn't let you modify it.

Unfortunately there are very few tools availabl for modding Sigmatel chips.

hello,
it seems that i have the same problem. easychips gives the same as the example at the site: ATJ2085P, Actions, Actions.
after first installation i could ask for a firmware upgrade from the menu of the player. after a crash and formatting it, i couldn't ask for it any more.
firmware version is ACT_V3.5.37 of 2006/04/21
i have no backup of it. is anything wrong with it, and how can i repair this.
