New 4GB MP3 (ipod clone) format with Windows XP

Hi, 'm having a similar issue with gkoz. My new 4gb MP3 clone needs to be reformated. I used Windows XP Administrative Tool, disk management to format the MP3 (FAT). I can copy songs to the player, but it does not work properly. It plays the song about few seconds, then "black-out". Do I have to use MP3 Utilities Disk Tool to format the player? If yes, please instruct me where can I down load that software.
Please help!!!

Oldtowne, MP3 Player Disk Tool is part of MP3 Player Utilities. You will find several versions in the Downloads>Tools section.

Hi Tada1, Thanks for your help, I can download the MP3 disk tool and was able to format my player. After format, It went from 4GB player to 1GB player.
But I still get "black-out" problem. It plays song about few seconds, then it shut down itself.
It would be greatly appreciated if you can instruct me how to resolve the issue.
Thanks.
