Default Memory reduced with Disk Utility Tool

Hello to all.
I am a newbie and I have a big problem.
My Mp4 player has a chip HY27USO8121A, somewhere I found it is 512 MB.

I had to format it and I set the "Encrypt disk capacity" to maximum, now I have only 46 MB available!
I have read many of the topics, but didnt find a solution.

Please help me, cause I badly need the player tomorrow, however big its real capacity is...

?

alxndr , try formatting it again, but now set the "Encrypt disk capacity" to MINIMUM. This should recover the remaining memory space.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

Actually thats what I did, because someone told me it will be a solution to another problem I had.

Anyway, fisrt I set Encryption to MAX -> then START, and then set to MIN -> and START again.
And now it remained 46 MB available.

(and I used to be able to use more than 46 MB of space, so it is obviously not a Hardware issue).

Please help? There must be some way to restore this 4Gbit (or 512 MB) ?

alxndr , if that's the case, try another method of formatting.
Right click on My Computer >> Manage >> Disk Management >> Select player drive >> Right click >> Format.
Chose FAT file system to format it.

Tried, but no effect.
I really cant handle this strange issue...i have tried several format methods, but Windows always detects it as 46 MB, and I can put only 46 MB of mp3s, as it has always been 46 MB. But a day ago, it was detected as 4 Gbit by the Disk Tool...

How is it possible?
