Default [solved] Folder question

Hey,
When I put files on my player i first have to select a folder that says 1.5寸文件 and in that folder are my amv, music etc. folders... But can i erase the chinese writing behind 1.5, which means something along the line of 1.5 inch documents,..because when i use, for instance wma converter software i can't directly write to my desired folder on my mp4 since a lot of western software can't handle chinese characters.
I thought i'd ask before i just went ahead and did it, cuz maybe it has to be there for some reason..
Thanks, love this site btw

When you go and select the music from WITHIN your player, do you have to navigate to that folder as well? Or does it bring up the list of songs straight away?

The majority of player that I have and know of just run directly off the root of the player and you don't need specifi folders to make the player function properly.

To be on the safe side, can you COPY it to your computer instead? Check the characters are there and then rename it.

I personally think it's ok to rename or even better, put it in the root of your player. If you from within your player, you have to navigate to this folder with the Chinese writing, then it seems to be ok to rename it.
