SOLVED - MP3 Player Utilities 4.00 converter crashes

I don't know why every time I try to convert a movie , the converter program crashes. I'm using MP3 Player Utilities 4.00 and before I was using 3.68, but it did the same thing, usually I try and convert .avi files, if someone can help me please.

Never mind, solved the problem. I needed a codec.
