SUBTITLES on AMV

SUBTITLES on AMV...

this is a very beta "HOW TO", if you have more ideias, please help.

-> first you need the software, "SUBTITLE WORKSHOP", "VIRTUAL DUB MOD" and
subtitle filter (copy subtitle.vdf to plugin folder in "virtual dub mod")

->the get the subtitles and movie... it dont mind if it´s compressed...

->open "subtitle workshop", get the subtitle and "save as", double click
on "SubStation alpha", the subtitle will now get *.ssa"

-> go to "virtual dub mod", open video file... now go to "video" "filters"
"ADD.." "SUBTITLER" and get your .ssa subtitle "ok".

->finally, "save as" and dont forget to save with compression.

->convert the .avi to everything you want..and you´re done!!!

Ideas..
-to do this you have to convert twice, before you get the file,
this means convert the ".avi" to ".avi with subtitles" and convert
to AMV.. a lot lot of time is wasted.

-you can change the colour of your subtitle, effects, etc, look for
in the readme.txt of subtitler plugin.

-if we get the ".amv" open source codec, maybe the "virtual dub"
can inserted as compression mode, to simplified our transaction.

-if some developer get the open source codec of .amv, can create
an option to insert subtitles in the player...this was the better way!

When i have a movie, i use this tutorial http://www.mympxplayer.org/viewtopic.php?t=805 to modify my avi file, and same time i process the subtitles...
