Default Please help!!!!

Hello everyone great website lots of info, I received my 1 gb black mp4 player last night. Everything seemed to be allright was all sealed up, hadnt looked like itd been damaged/used etc. But when i turn it on it loads up just fine brings up the menus and everything. The problem is it wont let me into any of em at all, I've tried everything. If i hold in menu to long it shuts it down, pause/play doesnt do anything, and the fastforward/backwards just scrolls through the menu.... Anyone have the same problem??? I really need to know what to do, because if its a faulty player i need to try and get it exchanged. Please reply with awnsers asap this is really pissin me off lol!

skunk5 , first you need to format your player to verify whether it is a legitimate 1GB.
If it checks out, try extracting, repair and re-flashing your repaired firmware back into your player. See if the button problem is solved.
If not, you might want to use the Waterlily program to assign the buttons to their functions.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29

Ok I formatted my player no problems. I then tried to use s1fwx to backup my firmware that worked ok to, but when i try and repair it it says "Try to repair firmware.... error: repairing file failed" So im not able to put it back onto the player. So is there a way to find out what firmware exactly i need for the player? And also with the waterlily program all the help files are in chinese, any tutorials? Because i have no clue on how to set the buttons for the right thing. Just let me know if this sounds right though, on my functionset tab Productor is wilson Co. Ltd, device S1 Mp3 player, fm select is set to yes then everything else is set to no like telbook select game select etc. On systemkey tab everything is blank.
