amv player problem
 

hi guys, i read somewhere someone had the same problem but i am having trouble locating the thread again.
i too am having trouble with amv player when playback on pc. It plays for 3 seconds ,sometimes up to 7 seconds and restarts playback.
i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling different versions of amv converters, but no matter which version i use, i can not rectify.My player did come loaded with virus, and although Norton picked up W32.sillyFdc, i am wondering if something escaped virus detection.
Can anyone help with answer, or point me to past thread,

ps.before i detected virus, amv player was fine....
