Default Mp4 movie player...

hey...

i recently tried to upload a movie unto my Mp4 player.
What i did was convert it with MTV convert tool. So this was a Mpeg and i changed it to a MTV. I put it on the system and it didnt work (or it didnt recognize anyfiles on my mp4 player)...

so i changed it to a AMV player and it changed the icon and actually read it...but then it gave me a FORMAT ERROR..
Im not sure what it meant?

what do i do? im kinda stuck...

Kappa21, What size screen does your player have and what version of AMV converter are you using?

Kappa21,
Download K-Lite Mega Codec pack HERE and install.
Download MP3 Player Utilities 3.68 HERE and install.

To convert to AMV use the AMV Converter which is part of MP3 Player Utilities. There is a guide to using the converter HERE

You can improve the quality of your conversions by pre-processing your video with VirtualDub, there is a guide to using VirtualDub HERE and you can download a copy HERE

Kappa21,
Do You mean AMV Converter 3.68, there is no 2.2?

This is possibly to do with the hardware of your player.

You can fix this by installing MP3 Player Utilities 4.00 which you can download HERE

Once installed Go to the AMV Converter folder and open the AmvTransform.ini in Notepad and change to these settings "BMPADJUST=3" and "CHIPTYPE=0"

Your converted AMV should now be flipped and appear the right way up n your player.
