s1fwx cant detect my player

checked all the connections and tried other usb ports but still not detected. the player is displayed in my computer. whats wrong here?

dersquaw , is your player running on the Actions ATJ chipset? From what i know, S1fwx only works on ATJ chips. You can either open the player to check if it is an ATJ chip, or use the EasyChips program from the downloads section to verify your chip.

Alternatively, try using other versions of S1fwx, there is ver2.6 and 3.0 available, maybe other versions too, i'm not so sure.

dersquaw, If you go to the players Settings menu and select Firmware Version what information is displayed?
