Zarko,

Sorry, I don't know about this player. Can you send us some more information like what it looks like and whether the s1fwx tool can extract the firmware from it?

This is a picture of that player

Re: Lisong LSD_9101_11 mp3/4 player

I've just got the same from eBay auction : it seems that 9.0.48 be the last release.
BTW, I have very big problem to use the 4GB capacity. When I try to had large number of files, at some time, the name of added directory is completely fuzzy, and the consequence is that it is no more possible to read the content.
I had to format it (using Windows XP format ), but then it is seen as a 2Go only capacity disk. The saler wrotes me that I should have kept the existing files at root level before formating it. But too late.
Did anyone face the same problem?
Could some of you provide me back with the files existing at root level?

Thank you in advance

yacc, The seller is bullshitting you, there are no 4GB chiPods, the largest at the present is 2GB. Your fake 4GB memory chip was hacked so that Windows wouls read it as 4GB but it is really only 2GB. When you formatted the player you removed the hack and now your player is eporting it's true size. This is why you were having the problem in the first place because Windows was trying to copy files to memory that does not really exist.

If you want to conferm your chip size you will need to open your player and check the memory chip serial number against this list of Samsung and Hynix chips.

If you look through the forums you will find many posts on the same problem.

tadad1,
Thank you for the explanation.
Seems that I should have broken a leg instead of spending (a bit of) money for this dam player. In any case, this will justify a negative evaluation.
I've made a donation, first to support your ***very good *** site, second to get a chance to win a really working player!
Have fun
