Default Convertion problems!

I conver AVI files to amv and then play them on my mp4, but what happens after that is that, the picture, screen or image (whatever you wanna call it) goes split and shows green and purple shades of colours, and also the sounds un-syncs with the bad images >_<
what can I do... I only succeeded in getting a prob=per conver few times ...help

The only way I found to solve it (sometimes), is by cutting the videos in 10 minutes each.
I have a 1.5inch screen mp4~

What convert tool version are you using?

For 1.5 inch player, it's best to use the 3.68 convert tool.

Set your setting as 96 x 64 and it should convert fine.

Have a look at this tutorial here:

zalude,

Have you installed any codec packs?
If not you can download the K-Lite Mega Codec pack from HERE

For a 1.5 inch LCD I think 128x96 (widescreen) or 128x128 (full screen) would be better than 96x64 which is more for a 1.2 screen.

ctht,
To uninstall it you need to delete the folder from the Program Files folder then open regedit and got to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall. You will find a series of subfolders with alpha numeric names like this {7784A172-61F1-445E-8368-601607E0DD22} click on each one until you find the entry related to MP3 Player Utilities 3.68 displayed in the right panel, then delete this folder. Then do the same here HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Installer\Pro ducts\
You should now be able to install a new version.

If 3.68 is not working for you and your player is 1.5 then try using version 4.0 HERE. Once you have it installed go to the AMV Converter folder and open AmvTransform.ini in notepad and change CHIPTYPE=0 to unlock the 1.5 settings.
