Re: firmware
abisi1 , there is a guide thread on theming your player located Here.

abisi1, I have seen your firmware and it is not possible for you to have these menus styles.
In most firmware every menu entry has a specific image or images that make up each menu screen, so if the firmware has 8 menu items there are 8 separate images one for each menu. The problem with your firmware is that there is only 1 image for all your menus. The only thing that changes from screen to screen are the small icon images. To have these menus the whole menu picture has to change from screen to screen on yours the background is a single image and stays on all menus. |
and one more question... how can i be sure that which firmware is matching with my ipod. my ipod is 3.5.35 and can i upgrade it last firmvaare which have menus what i looking for.???
sorry for my speaking of English |
Re: firmware
abisi1 , most likely 99% of the themed firmwares would be incompatible with your player. By using someone's themed firmware and flashing it in your player, high chance you will end up with a dead player.
What you can do is using S1fwx to extract your firmware and repair it. Then use S1res to edit the images that you can download from the themes section. Some of the themes that you find may be not suitable as tadad1 has mentioned, but you can still use it by manually editting the image files, either by MS Paint or some other image editors. The full step-by-step instructions from extraction to theming is located Here. |
can you advise a firmware? [3.5.37] compatible

Re: firmware
abisi1 , no one can tell which firmware is compatible with which player. From the Dead Players section, you can see alot of people having problems recovering their players after updating with an incompatible firmware.
What i'll advise is to extract your firmware, repair it and keep it safely. Then make a copy of it to edit the images using S1res tool. This way, it would be 100% compatible with your player. |
thnx, regards
