New songs wont play
 

hey guys... i got a 1 gb black ipod nano clone... i used some atjupload to see my chipset.. it says wilson.co... but d problem im facin wit it is dat i have 40 songs on it... n they play well .. but if i add any more songs ... n try 2 play it the player reeboots... do i need a firmware chane or wat? pls pls sum 1 help ! thanks in advance

d12_lee , looks like you have a player with hacked memory. You'll need to use Disk Tools to low-level format your player.

nope dude d low leve format dint help... any other suggestions ? can i put a differnt firmware n try... cud sum 1 recomend 1 plsssssss

d12_lee , never flash someone else's firmware into your player! You'll most likely kill your player straight.
You might want to try extracting your existing firmware, repair it, then re-flash it back into your player. See if it solves the problem.

dude im a complete noob in this stuff.. so cud u explayin what u mean by repairing of my firmware... i extracted d firmware... but dnt know how 2 n what to repiar in it.. thanks

d12_lee , first you need to extract and repair your player's firmware, the guide is Here.

Next, with the REPAIRED firmware, you need to re-flash it back into your player, the guide is Here.
