Is it possible to listen radio without the earphone?
Hi,
After turning crasy looking Admin topic here : Donate and Win THIS SUPER TFT 2' MP4 ... I finally bought the same player http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/8302/player1al7.jpg => it's a fantastic tiny player. My question is : I have a 9.0.48 firmware version inside. Is it possible to listen radio without the earphone; I mean listening radio directly by the built-in speaker ? (not on a stereo or tv this works good with a 3.5mmjack/RCA link) Actually, I'm afraid in most models, the built-in speaker is suitable for mp3/wma/amv sound only. If any body can do it with his own player even if it is another model, please answer me. Regards, Lejigabou |
Re: PL
Lejigabou that's a beauty! How do you put it to speaker instead of headphones? With a menu setting, or just take the headphones off? If the latest, it might not work, because the headphone cable often works as an antenna for the radio. Maybe tadad1 or admin can shine a light on this.

Re: PL
Hi Que,
Sure it is so beautiful that I have to order 5 for collegues at work now ! My sony ericsson radio mobile also need the earphone wich act as an antena. It certainly the same for most of our MP4 players including FM radio. I'll just have to buy external speakers to connect to the mp4 (use at work) When I'm in mobility situations, earphone radio listening is great. Thanks for your post and comment. Do you have such model ? Or do you have one using 9.0.48 firmxare ? Because I wonder how change the startup and power down animations. I succed to extract my firmware with the tool but the other one use to modify don't allow me to change thoses animations (only for 0.37 or 0.35 firmware I guess) Any ideas to manage it ? Thanks Lejigabou |
Re: PL
Hi, I don't have a dedicated mp3 player. But I have a Siemens sx1 phone for 2 years now, which I use for music, mp3 or mostly ogg files. And it has a great radio, which I use mostly. Then I have a Mio 168, which I bought for the gps to navigate, but also use the large screen for watching movies when on a plane, it eats everything because it holds windows mobile so I can load any software I want.
The wife says "enough hardware", easy for her to say now that she got a samsung 20 gig player for her birthday from me. So I can't tell you what to do with the firmware, I do not have the slightest clue. Que lacks clue, haha Maybe your firmware is too new for the supporting programs yet? |
