Player still not working

Ok when i first recieved my player i could only scroll though the menu where it shows all the options like music, video all that shit. Then within 30 minutes that stopped working to, so all the buttons no longer work. So i extracted my firmware using s1fwx and tryed repairing it with no succes. I have a black 1 gb Wilson Co version 9.0.43, I would VERY much appreciate someone that could help me with either getting new working firmware on here, or whatever else that could get the player working again. I would like to hear suggestions! THIS IS BUGGING THE SHIT OUTA ME LOL

Do you mean the whole player just 'hangs' and nothing happens?

I too would recommend formatting it like Lorne has mentioned to see if that helps.
