barry_uk , what oceanboy said was correct, you'll need to format your player using the MP3 Utilities Disk Tool. Perform a "LOW" level format on your player, and under the Partition & Encrypt tab, slide the slider all the way to left (min) and click format. Be prepared for a loss in memory capacity.
Regarding the charging, it is possible that the AC mains adaptor might be faulty. Charging should display an animated battery icon. But it is not recommended to use the AC adaptor as some people in the forum have experienced the adaptor damaging their player. |
Re: new mp4 nano clone
thanks the reformatting has worked
as it's a hacked player does it mean that I cannot actually use the 3.9 gb on offer? also is there a button I need to press to start the charging process? thanks for your help guys |
Re: new mp4 nano clone
barry_uk , the bad news is, whatever that is shown after the format, is the actual memory capacity. The hack manipulated the memory chip to show more than what it actually is. So no, there is no 4GB.
For charging, you'll only need to plug the player in, that's all. Ensure that the switch on the top/side is on. |
