Broken screen, needs replacing

Does anyone know how of where I can get a replacement screen for my nano clone. The outer screen is completely cracked and I removed it; the lcd is untouched thankfully.

I have looked around different places in Toronto that sell these players and when I ask them where I can get it fixed, all reply with an 'I don't know.'

I doubt I can find anywhere I can get it fixed so does anybody have an idea on how I could possibly fix this myself? I was thinking of getting an old Game Boy screen and putting on my Mpx player. Does any one have a better idea?

Also my player keeps turning off when a small bump or vibration hits it, can anyone please tell me why?

myschyf , usually the casings for these players are difficult to find. What you could do is like what you have suggested, cut out the old/crack screen, and replace it with another transparent screen. Look around your house for thin and firm plastics or perspex. CD jewel cases are an ideal choice.

I have the same problem of the player turning off, especially when it is in my pocket and i'm walking. Mostly likely i think it is due to static, or some loose components inside. Not very sure of it, it's been sometime since i last opened it.

I use a thick acrylic digicam lcd screen cover to replace my broken screen cover. They come in various sizes and can be ordered from the following supplier:
