I get exactly the same message when i run the program, seems it doesnt work for our players or what?

Hi everyone just to let you know that "wiRe" the creator of s1res and s1fwx is constantly working to overcome these problems and upgrade his apps so that we the users can backup, theme and recover our players but it takes time and a lot of work on his part, if you have ever used s1fwx or s1res and themed or recovered your player show your support by making a donation on his web site at www.s1mp3.de .
If it were not for his efforts there would be a mountain of dead chiPods with crappy waterlily themes.

can someone ask him how long would it take for that to happend?
or if there is a way i can put 9.0.43 or something on my 9.0.48 player so i can change the theme

Best to wait until a stable version is released. The last thing you want is to have a 'dead' player. Enjoy your player now and think about modding it alittle later on when the tool is ready. Don't risk having a dead player by using an incompatible firmware to mod your player with.

I tried the 9.0.43 -> Dead player. Now waiting for wiRe's tool. 8)

thats too bad,
the ugly theme is better than dead player
