Strange problem with files
 

Hello everybody
I purchased an 1.8" 4 Gb MP4 player (unbranded, it looks like this one http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/9...957full7xx.jpg but screen is rotated 90 degrees) from an italian ebay shop.

The reader works quite well, but I'm not able to browse songs. I can browse folders but no files are shown inside (the are present). I tried to format using FAT16 (64kb allocation), FAT32 from WinXP and from Mac, but the problem is always the same. In addiction, it doesn't remember which song was playing when the reader turned off and always starts from the same song. It is quite frustrating. I already tried putting only a few songs on the reader, but the behaviour is always the same. Can anyone help me solving this issue?

MBA , currently these players do not support file-browsing, only folder browsing. So when you go to the browser list, all you can see are the folders that stores the mp3 files. There is nothing much you can do about this.

Regarding your second problem, try to stop/pause your music, exit the music program, then off the player (not the main switch, but press & hold the play button). See when you turn the player on again, does the music continue from where you stopped off.

Thanks a lot. Unluckily, i tried what you suggested but no way: it always starts from the beginning of the first song! Even when I select a different folder, it comes back to the first song.
