Need help: Firmware update!

Hi! I have a 512Mb Blaze Mp4 and I'd like to upgrade the firmware version (Acts16d_13 2005/06/01 ws.3.2.16 2005-12-06 Wilson and Co.)

]Mercado Libre

The player works fine, I just want to try something new, but... I donīt want to ruin my player, so what do you recommend?

Re: Need help: Firmware update!

sek300 , first up, never ever flash in another person's firmware unless your player is dead and you are performing dead player recovery. You are more likely to kill your player straight.

There are no significant benefits in newer versions, but if you want to try something new, i'll suggest that you theme your firmware instead.
The full guide is Here, from extraction to modification to flashing. Always remember to use your own extracted & repaired firmware for theme modification.

Lattesurf, thank you very much for the advice. That's the smartest option isn't it? Thanks again.

sek300 , well technically yes. Just a wrong firmware update and that's it, you'll be tearing your hair out trying to recovery your player.
