File Order
 

Can anyone please tell me why files in my music folders are ordered with all .mp3s first, followed by .wmas despite the fact that all files were loaded onto my nano clone in alphabethical order (ie. .mp3s and .wmas mixed up). Thanks.

Madhuri, Is that the order that they play on your player or the order they appear in explorer. Most players will play files in the order that they were copied to the player.
If you want them to play by name try using this little app to resort them.

If it's sorted MP3 then WMA from Windows Explorer, then you have your Windows Explorer sorted by file type instead of file name.

How does it look on your player if you're playing it from your player? Do they play MP3 first then WMA?

That is the order they are listed on the player - .mp3s first, followed by .wmas. In windows explorer they are listed by file name (ie. .mp3s and .wmas mixed together).
