sukhpal35 , unfortunately there is no way of telling which firmware works with which player. What i can suggest is opening your player to get the processor's serial number and look for the related firmware dump in the downloads section.

There is also another list of firmwares provided by kivin Here. You might want to try your luck there too.

sukhpal35, It is a 7zip archive file you need to install 7Zip to extract the Firmware Modifier. You will download 7zip here:

sukhpal35,
What is it that you are trying to do?

From your post I understand that you loaded an incorrect firmware to your player.

You were able to find a firmware that works on your player but the screen is very dim.

You wanted to try Firmware Modifier to increase the brightness setting of your firmware, but you are having problems downloading it.

Is this correct??????

I do not understand what problems you are having with the Firmware Modifier download.
The download is a 7zip file if you have installed 7zip you should be able to right click on Firmware_Modifer.7z and choose extract from the 7-Zip popout menu.
Once extracted click on FirmwareModify.exe and load your firmware dump and then increase the contrast setting and save.
Now load the saved firmware to your player and the screen brightness should have increased.

sukhpal35 , the 7zip installation link @ http://www.mympxplayer.org/7-zip-ver-431-df12.html seems alright to me. i am able to click on it and click on download.

If you had tried to modify the firmware with the Firmware Modifier, and still the screen is dim/dark. Then try another firmware dump. There is no way of telling which dump will work with which player.
