Default MY MP4 PLAYER DOES'NT RECORD ANYTHING!

Hi guys! this is the first time I post a message here. Please help me 'coz it seems that i can't record anything in the Voice Recorder function of my MP4 Player. Although I'm not usually using it, but I'm just wondering why is it not recording anything. I successfully recorded and saved the file and when I played it there is nothing that was saved but the duration of the recording is the same though but there is nothing that I can hear that I have recorder.

Please help me with this one.

I think it was my firmware that is not supporting this kind of feature, though there's a menu for such; my player even have an internal mic in it.

I'll be waiting for your reply guys and hope you can help me.

Thanks!

blackscepter, If the record function is generating a file and the file is blank I would think that your mic is faulty. What happens when you try to record from the radio feature?

blackscepter, Well it seems the record feature works ok so I would guess it is your mic.
Most of these players use a lithium polymer battery, getting a replacement depends on how much room you have for the battery. There are batteries on eBay for nano clones just do a search for MP4 Player Battery will bring them up.
To replace them you need to unsolder the two wires of the old battery and solder in a new one.
Most Nano clone batteries have a rating of around 250mAh, the higher rating you can get the longer your player will run on a single charge.
