Br41n , is the red point visible throughout all the functions in the player? Or does it only appear in some functions?

Br41n, Although the picture is not all that clear it does not look like a locked pixel problem it almost looks like there is something between the screen cover and the LCD panel a liquid stain. I suggest opening the player and seeing if you can clean it off.

Br41n , like what tadad1 had suggested is to open the player and check the screen on the cover and on the lcd surface.

If not, since you said that it only appears when it is on, and disappears when it is off. Then probably it would be that the orange pixels are damaged pixels. But usually i've only seen and heard of dead (black) and bright (white) pixels.

Br41n , it is quite difficult to purchase such lcd modules by itself as usually hardware/electronic stores seldom carry such modules of these specs. But you can try though, those hardware/electronic stores in your area.

Or else, if it is still under warranty, the best would be to contact your seller for a replacement set.
