You might have been infected with a trojan, some cd's were infected and delivered with the players. Run spysweeper or spyware doctor, or hitmanpro, which is free, and do a scan.

nottoc, Some players have been known to arrive with a virus hidden in them set to auto run when the player is connected.

Thanks guys thought that may be the case, my lap top fell over so has had to go back to supplier just hope it wasn't a virus or they will bill me. i ran virus scan and i have nortons running on my pc but this didn't pick up anything. Pc seams to be working ok now only time will tell , i will down load these other programs and run just to make sure. Shame as the player is great i have bought 4, one of which my father -in -law had the others are for me and my two boys. Need to make sure there virus free before wrapping them for xmas.

nottoc , another suggestion would be to also format all the 4 players that you have. As many players nowadays are memory-hacked. At least if the memories are hacked, you can get them sorted out before giving them for xmas, or even get a refund or some sorts. The guide to it is Here.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
