Memory problem, no radio ????
HI,
I have by a sony MP4 digital player, but my problem is: my mp4 player supports 256 Mb dispite he accepts 107 Mb only, if I copy filesmore than that the files don't work they are corrupted my mp4 player dosen't play them and my os too. My second problem is : I d'ont have radio in my mp4 player the option radio is not here ??? please help me :( thanks... |
jellalit, It sounds like you may have a hacked player. Your chips true size may only be 128MB but it has been hacked to read as 256MB. With these chips when you add files above the chips true size the files become corrupted and will not play.
You can check like it with the MP3 Player Disk Tool which is part of MP3 Player Utilities. http://www.mympxplayer.org/feedback-...rs-vt2828.html To fix the corruption you need to remove the hack from the memory chip like this. http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html Regarding the radio function not all players have the radio chip installed. |
tadad1, thanks i will chek that.
and the radio i c'ant istall it ? |
jellalit, There is no way to add the radio feature to the firmware and your players mainboard may not have a radiochip.

Re: Memory problem, no radio ????
jellalit , the term "hacked" in the memory capacity context is where the memory chip is re-programmed to tell the operating system of a much larger capacity then it is supposed to be.
Your player had been hacked by the manufacturers to make it look like 256MB when it is actually just a 128MB chip. There is nothing you can do to "recover" the lost 128MB. What you can do is either live with the 128Mb player, or to contact your seller and either get a full refund or partial refund. |
ok thanks lattesurf and tadad1,

I bought a new 1GB MP3 player (China make). In the players memory info, it shows 1Gb, but it was unable to load 1Gb of songs. Pl help me how to use total memory.

sree, If you have MP3 layer Utilities installed connect your player and run the MP3 Player Disk tool.
Have a look at the capacity on the format tab and the capacity on the Partition Encrypt tab, do the match or are they differrent? http://www.mympxplayer.org/feedback-...rs-vt2828.html |
