Default User manual for a plain mp3 player

I'm looking for a user manual for a plain looking no-name mp3 player. It's not a chinapod, but a simple player. It looks just like this one on ebay

Ebay Item

If someone can direct me to a specific site that has one I appreciate it. My daughter wants one for Xmas and I happen to have this one, but no manual.

Thanks

Thanks tadad1!

That will work out great. Now if I can find the software that came with it. This player was given too me as it was missing these items.

I just checked out the basic functions, but I wanted a manual for my daughters reference.

If know of any software, let me know

amnman,
I doubt you need any software for a USB pendrive MP3 Player. Just connect the player to your PC and use it as a you would a USB Pendrive by copying your MP3 files to it with Explorer.

The two tools that would apply to your player are the firmware upgrade tool but upgrading the firmware is not advised as it can very easily kill your player. Secondly s1fwx which is used to create a backup of your players firmware. This is a good idea because if you do ever have problems with the player the firmware backup can be very handy.

You can download s1fwx here:

And should you ever need it the upgrade tool:

You will find Guides to using both programs in the Knowledge Base Here:

tadad1;

Didn't mean it that way, looking for ways to personalize the player.

I just uploaded the s1res v2.1 from wiRes. It corrects a problem with the B/W icons for players like the one I was looking for the manual.

I'm an electronic technician so "hacking a player" sounds like fun. Haven't played with Z80 coding and the like since the late 70's early 90's. I use to write a lot of TSR in the MS/DOS days. C++ in the early Windows days (95 or earlier).

Just trying to get a programming/developer book for the ATJ series of chips has been useless. How do they expect producer/developers ( ) of their product be able to use it without this info

At least I have their ATJ2085 (and earlier chips) spec sheets. Not much help in programming.
