I just click continue and the software works, but when i clean up my temp files the software disappears and when i try to uninstall the program, the same message about that key appears and then the uninstaller stops... i can't even upgrade to the new version now because it says an older version is installed......if someone knows how to get rid of the program and why i see that error?, please let me know, because is driving me crazy

To manually uninstall it you need to delete the folder from the Program Files folder then open regedit and got to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall. You will find a series of subfolders with alpha numeric names like this {7784A172-61F1-445E-8368-601607E0DD22} click on each one until you find the entry related to MP3 Player Utilities 4.03 displayed in the right panel, then delete this folder. Then do the same here HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Installer\Pro ducts\
You should now be able to install a new version.

If you have a 1.5 inch LCD I suggest you use version 3.68
If you have a 1.8 inch LCD use version 4.00
Versions 4.03, 4.05 & 4.07 are for players wth 2.0 inch + LCD's

Well, this is a little follow up...i still can't find anyway to uninstall the software, which is very frustrating.....I have to use this version until somehow or somebody finds the solution....maybe somebody here knows about any good uninstaller software that really works without having a previous snapshot of the registry?.....

So there i was changing my desktop theme and talking with a friend on msn and after telling him about my problem, he pointed me to the following solution.
First, go into “program file” and delete the mp3 utilities folder. Then download the Window Installer Cleanup Utility package from Microsoft or at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301/. Once download, run it. Once you have the application open, scroll down, you will see mp3 utilities. Highlight it, and remove the damn sucker.

I finally upgrade it the software but i have a new problem now (why i'm not surprised?....)
