My mp4 player was working fine then all of a sudden the songs that i download and play come out distorted and sounds like it's jumping around during the songs playing with an echo . i've deleted and re downloaded the music but still the same thing, does anyone have any idea why it does this and what i can do. also i can play the songs directly on the computer just have the problem while using headphones and i've tried different pairs.

thats really strange. try experimenting with your equaliser settings.

drama721 , when you mentioned that you can play the songs directly, are you trying to say that when you connect the player and access the player's drive via computer, you can play those files properly? Or are those files playable in your computer itself?
