i have a sony mp4 player SC85052E ACT_V3.5.35 2006/4/11

how can i put my songs in order alphabetically?

i have tried going into the drive, right clicking and arranging them by name, but after i remove the mp4 from the computer and check to see if it is in order its not

can u please tell me if there is a way to put the songs in order?

theone_60626, most players will play files in the order that they were copied to the player so you can either copy them to your player alphabetically or I have uploaded a little app FolderSort that will sort them here:

is there another program which i can put into my mp3 w/o installing it??

i don't want it to be on my cpu harddrive i just want it to be on the removable device

theone_60626 , there is another way of creating an invisible "playlist".
Maybe you might find it useful, the guide is Here.

But for your case, since you want in it alphabetical order, you'll need to sort the files in Name when in step1.
