The player came with a cd, that holds the movie converter software. You can also get it from the download section here on the forum. Install that software, and convert your movies with that to the AMV format, which the player can play only. Search the forum for topics about the favorable settings and versions of the software.
When done copy the movie to the player, but I guess you already understood that.
