Hangs on hour glass and won't boot
I'm a complete newbie about my player though I have had it for almost three months now...
My Player (NANO Clone 1GB) is having problems - at first it just immediately hanged (with that "hour glass" on the screen) while I was playing music, then it hanged forever. -then I turned it off using the "On-Off" Button at the top -it will reach the Menu then the song, then a few seconds it will automatically reboot itself, continuously -now it won't boot - i connected to the PC using the USB, it will boot up, then to the menu, then reboot again.... so the deive gets detected but in a few seconds the PC gets disconnected from the connection so I really can seem to find a way to replace firmware and I honestly dont know how to do so? *stupid Now, can you give me a step by step instruction on how I can fix the problem? - is this a firmware problem or what? If it is, how will I replace the firmware (step-by-step please... if there are screenshots it woul be appreciated)... - should I consider this "dead" and then follow the intructions on how to revive a dead player? Please guide a complete noob!... hehehe... THANKS!... i love this site by the way... gives me so much info on my Player and other players... hoping to hear some replies soon..... Im a Tech Support but I suck when it comes to my player... wahahahha |
Re: HELP about my PLAYER! [URGENT]
Have you tried to check if the memory has been hacked?
There is a very good step by step guide here: Guide I am fairly new to this also, and from what I have read, this might be your problem. |
from what rockstar says, yes i agree with lddrizzt's soluton. give it a try
|
rockstar,
I would say it IS hacked, you may only have like 256mb Memory. Sorry man |
waaaaaaaaaaaa.... thanks for your advices... unfortunately my player wont boot anymore..
guess i just have to follow the DEAD RECOVERY guide!// T_T |
sorry about that.
but i cant see any step in the guide for recovering your original memory that would make your player dead. |
Did you do the format that I pointed to? or did you try a firmware upgrade?
