Default Non responsive buttons

I have a black Nano clone with firmware version 9.0.48. I've had it for a few days now and it's worked great. But last night the reverse button stopped functioning. I tried the obvious solution and opened the player up and wiped down the buttons. Still no effect. I even tried moving the wires connected to the battery around (I thought they may have been interfering) but still nothing. Now, this morning I find that the volume button is acting up too. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

contact your seller, and see if they will replace it.

I tried contacting the guy but I'm honestly not holding my breath for a replacement.
