Lisong MP3 PLayer :?:
Wilson Co.

2006-11-03

Where I could to download the firmware for this MP4?

Marcopolo , is your player working properly now?
If it is, i'll suggest not doing anything to the firmware, as currently the firmware extraction tool is unable to support your version yet.

If your player is dead, here are some 9.0.48 firmwares by tadad1 http://www.mympxplayer.org/some-9048...ds-vt2895.html
If all these do not work, then you have no choice but to wait until the extraction tool is able to support your version.

LSD_9112_20

9.0.50
2005-01-09

Device name: LISONG MP3 Player
Productor: Wilson Co. Ltd.

------------------------------------------

first: I need a new firmware ????
second: Which firmware is compitable with this MP3/4 Player ????

SORRY BUT MY ENGLISH ISN`T SO GOOD :)

DOcKa,

Why do you need a new firmware?

The firmware is very player specific trying to change firmware will in most cases kill your player with very little chance of recovery.

DOcKa 10th Feb 2007 6:47 pm

the menu and the menu-style of this firmware is so baaaad ...

but when i kill the player with a other firmware ...
... i let it be ^^

Re: MP4 Player Firmware - Lisong Wilson

Hi,

I recently bought one of these, works fine so far, but my Win98 PC can't recognise it as a flash drive.

The driver CD that came with player has a load of driver files on it, and the 'read me' instructions claim they work with Win98SE, but nothing happening.

Does anyone know where I can get appropraite driver please?

Thanks

Tortilla,

Have a look at our [Downloads] -> [Tools] -> [Drivers/Codecs] section here.

There you will find a lot of various Windows 98 drivers for your player. Hopefully that will help.

Thanks for identifying its lack-of-support surrounding v9.0.48. I'd tried the latest S1FWX v3.1 direct from www.s1mp3.de (s1mp3.org offered an earlier v3.0) and Windows Safe Mode, but encountered problems begining with EXTRACT.BAT:

Should S1FWX's lack-of-support make me extra-cautious about using the "MP3 Player Firmware Upgrade Tool" from Utilities 4.10? Its AMV Converter is still patchy for 160X120, outputing 176X128 instead, even though Uxcell's bundled KSJ.AMV is 160X120@16fps.

Purchased mine for a gift but to have a play with first. To me, MP4s are concept iPods designs, and Z80 CPUs no longer excuse your poor Graphical-User-Interface for a platform into its life-cycle.

My MP4's menu-style is a jog-wheel clipped to an arch of five icons set against a bubbly changing color-scheme, but is let down by the way icons justle around randomly, the Radio selection been an animated-GIF of a Sony MiniDisc, and both quirks been spotted quickly.

Binh,

Thanks for the link, I tried all three drivers, but still not recognising the player. The PC finds new hardware, but none of the drivers are right.

Do I need to enable / disable something, or change any settings?

Cheers

Jon
