MP4 Player Firmware - Lisong Wilson

Y buyed a MP4 player (seems a Nano iPod) of 1 gb, 1,8" screen color, the specifications are (this shows the Setup):

Lisong MP3 PLayer :?:
Wilson Co.
Ver 9.0.48
2005-01-09
LSD-9312-10
2006-11-03

Where I could to download the firmware for this MP4?

Thanks, Very much, and sorry for my English

lattesurf 7th Jan 2007 12:07 pm

Marcopolo , is your player working properly now?
If it is, i'll suggest not doing anything to the firmware, as currently the firmware extraction tool is unable to support your version yet.

If your player is dead, here are some 9.0.48 firmwares by tadad1 http://www.mympxplayer.org/some-9048...ds-vt2895.html
If all these do not work, then you have no choice but to wait until the extraction tool is able to support your version.

2006-10-21
9.0.50

------------------------------------------

first: I need a new firmware ????
second: Which firmware is compitable with this MP3/4 Player ????

SORRY BUT MY ENGLISH ISN`T SO GOOD :)

tadad1 10th Feb 2007 6:37 pm

DOcKa,

Why do you need a new firmware?

The firmware is very player specific trying to change firmware will in most cases kill your player with very little chance of recovery.

DOcKa 10th Feb 2007 6:47 pm

the menu and the menu-style of this firmware is so baaaad ...

but when i kill the player with a other firmware ...
... i let it be ^^

Re: MP4 Player Firmware - Lisong Wilson

Hi,

I recently bought one of these, works fine so far, but my Win98 PC can't recognise it as a flash drive.

The driver CD that came with player has a load of driver files on it, and the 'read me' instructions claim they work with Win98SE, but nothing happening.

Does anyone know where I can get appropraite driver please?

Thanks

Tortilla,

Have a look at our [Downloads] -> [Tools] -> [Drivers/Codecs] section here.

There you will find a lot of various Windows 98 drivers for your player. Hopefully that will help.

Thanks for identifying its lack-of-support surrounding v9.0.48. I'd tried the latest S1FWX v3.1 direct from www.s1mp3.de (s1mp3.org offered an earlier v3.0) and Windows Safe Mode, but encountered problems begining with EXTRACT.BAT:

http://www.mympxplayer.org/my-firmwa...048-df515.html

Should S1FWX's lack-of-support make me extra-cautious about using the "MP3 Player Firmware Upgrade Tool" from Utilities 4.10? Its AMV Converter is still patchy for 160X120, outputing 176X128 instead, even though Uxcell's bundled KSJ.AMV is 160X120@16fps.

Purchased mine for a gift but to have a play with first. To me, MP4s are concept iPods designs, and Z80 CPUs no longer excuse your poor Graphical-User-Interface for a platform into its life-cycle.

My MP4's menu-style is a jog-wheel clipped to an arch of five icons set against a bubbly changing color-scheme, but is let down by the way icons justle around randomly, the Radio selection been an animated-GIF of a Sony MiniDisc, and both quirks been spotted quickly.

Binh,

Thanks for the link, I tried all three drivers, but still not recognising the player. The PC finds new hardware, but none of the drivers are right.

Do I need to enable / disable something, or change any settings?

Cheers

Jon

Re: MP4 Player Firmware - Lisong Wilson

I have a mp3/4 player by wilson co. My problem is that I can't seem to get the playing mode to work properly. I can't find a way of getting it out of introduction mode, so it will only play a song for 10seconds and then it stop.
How can I correct this problem.

MP3 Player
BKSD91N12-030
2007-04-21
9.0.50
2005-01-09

Device name: LISONG MP3 Player
Productor: Wilson Co. Ltd.
Version: 9.0.50

lattesurf 18th Jan 2008 1:07 am

ronaiello , when the player is playing music, try pressing Menu and select Repeat mode. Then select Normal instead of Intro. See if this works.

Re: MP4 Player Firmware - Lisong Wilson

Thank You LatteSurf !!!

Our Wilson MP4 was (and probably still will be) misbehaving with the infamous "format error" on occasion... this seems to happen whenever it tries reading certain MP3 files.

But that 10 seconds -- stop thing was driving me InSaNe! I thought it was just another bug or part of the same problem (although the 10 seconds did seem "deliberate", and it would even play the whole song if you paused it enough times!). I never would've guessed that it was a setting / feature ... hmmph, it was just mind boggling.

Anyway, mystery solved.
Thanks again!

[plus, we've got a few files that may helpful with a firmware restore in the future if need be <knock>]

I have one of these devices too, with the same firmware,

MP3 Player
LSD_9112_20
2006-10-21
9.0.50
2005-01-09

but it only lets me download 118 songs and play them. I can download video in any format I want and it stores it like a flash drive which I can play back on my computer, but always tells me the disk is empty when I ask it to play the video through the player.

I can only use half the rated 1 gig capacity of the disk for storage regardless of the type of data.

Can I do anything to fix this, or do I have glorified half gig mp3player/flash disk?

nooby121 19th Jul 2008 5:01 am

i need help with my player
its
MP3 PLAYER
QS91NM_LS7
2007-07-11

i kinda want an upgrade for this cuz my player makes the pics in it so crappy and i kinda want to know why when sometimes there is no more electricity in it(just a bit enough to start it then turns off instantly) it always needs to be formatted then all my songs(all of them are hard to find so i kinda want a solution as quick as possible cuz i aint gonna get the data at some point anymore) and pics has to be deleted so i kinda am getting frustrated with this

----please help
