Default What is best for my mp4?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if someone could tell me what to get for my mp4 (converters and/or any other programs I would need).

It has 1.5 inch screen... and it the same as the one on tada1's picture (the one on the second row right after the first player)
here is a link to another picture...

thanks...

zalude, For a 1.5 inch LCD player MP3 Player Utilities 3.68 works well.

There is a guide to using it here:

Depending on your players firmware version you may be able to make a backup of the firmware with s1fwx which will be invaluable should you have any problems with your player in the future.

Sorry but it seems that the s1fwx doesn't work or me... it doesn't detect anything. What can I do? Is it very important?

zalude, s1fwx will only work on Action chipset players. If you go into the setings menu on your player and select "Firmware Version" what information is displayed?

zalude, The main menu screens where it shows Music, Movies, Record, Games, FM Radio etc. there should be a entry for Settings or System you should find some firmware info in there.

zalude,

I have the same player as you (outer casing-wise that is).

What operating system do you have? s1fwx only works on Win 2000 or Windows XP. Others like Win ME and 98 won't work unfortunately.

As tadad mentioned, s1fwx only detects ACTIONS chipped players. You might have a Sigmatel or Sunplus chip instead. If this is the case, then unfortunately there are no tools that I know of that lets you extract the firmware and modify it for these chipsets.

zalude, If your player is running 3.5.37 then you should not be having any problems with s1fwx it should detect your player.
