Fast forward very slow
 
Hello,

i have boght a new MP4 Player. Iam very Happy. Its make full Display with Movies and its very simple to use.

Its Perfect but :
1. It is cheap plastic

2. It makes fast foward very slow. The Original Playing almost faster

How can i change it, becouse i listen to DJ Sets who 90min long.

New Firmware? But i wont to damage my player, becouse all works very good.

Atila,

I've found that the fast forwarding is slow on all my players too (I have a few different ones with different screen size and firmware versions).

Don't risk killing your player by trying to update the firmware though.

I think the newer firmware might be faster, I've heard that but trying to use a newer firmware which is likely to be INcompatible will give you a 'dead player' in just about all cases.

The chip/board design in these players are not the best and I think the fast forwarding wasn't one of the best thought out features unfortunately.

Same here with mp3's, but fast forwarding through .ogg files goes as it should. Try a musicfile converted to ogg, and see if your player can play it. If it is a action chip, it probably will.
