Audio is distorted through earphones, but ok through speaker

The audio is distorted through earphones (bad quality and missing lyrics) but on the built in speaker it works ok. and i have tried several pairs of earphones.

Please help i dont want to have to send this back. :cry:

geostar, If you have tried other earphones and the problem still exists then there may be a fault with the socket, either loose connection, short or poorly soldered connection points.

i cant send it back as i no longer have the original packaging so what can i do .

Maybe they can replace it without having the original packaging? Just replace the player instead while you keep all the accessories and packaging.

its a real shame as its a brilliant player. good thing i ordered it from a uk company.

Hello, do you have some practical knowledge in soft welding (using a iron and tin rod)? if not you could go a electronic shop and ask to weld the earphones contacts in mine these was the problem.

I recieved a replacement today, it works perfect. im really happy with it!!

despite the problems ive had id reccomend this player to anyone.
