Default When I upload mp3 songs to player, it overwrites each other

I bought this 4gb MP4/3 palyer from this seller RCZilla in ebay and having music problem. When i upload mp3 song it overwrite each other. Ex: i put 8 music folder in the player and, folder1 music overwrite the music in all other folder music to be the same as the music in folder1. Any idea how i could fix that? or is this a hacked player cause i formated the player and still showed 3.9gb.

do you observe this problem in your player or in the removable drive of your player?

also, did you format using the mp3 disk tools or some other formatter?

amd-boy,

I would recommend formatting your player.

There is a great guide here: http://www.mympxplayer.org/1-vt2400.htm. Try that and see if that helps solve your problem.

Let us know.

yes unfortunately the seller cheated you. its amazing to see how the number of cheaters are increasing day by day and how shameless they are.

did you buy it from ebay? if you did, file a dispute. if from somewhere else, try contacting the seller and ask him if he is ready to refund you.

if you dont want to get into all of this mess, then you can store files only till 475 mb. but it is better if you fight for your right

well guys i email the RCZilla and he say
(It is not hacked memory it just mean you have corrupted segments in memory probably all previous problem actually corrupted memory it is not a problem - just send it back and we'll send you a replacement but if you think threatening is the way to deal with the problem then it's your choice. If you think we sell bogus players then you are wrong. )
Should i do a replacement?

amd-boy , i bet you 100% if you open the player's casing and check for the memory chip serial number, it would reveal a 512MB chip serial number, rather than a 4GB serial number.

If you send the player back, it'll be at your own cost. If the seller resends you another hacked player, and finally it ends with a purchase price refund, you would have lost on a few postage prices.

What i'll suggest you open the player, verify the memory chip serial number against the manufacturer (samsung or hynix). Tell the seller the serial number, and from then on it is your call on whether you want partial refund or full refund.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

tell the seller that you are not a fool.

do as lattesurf says. match the memory chip serial number and confirm what size it is and then email him again with the result.

if he had given you 2gb after promising you 4 gb then it is somewhat acceptable but selling 512mb players in the name of 4gb is a little too much in my opinion.
