[solved] after about 100 tracks, wont take anymore

So I got a 4gb (yeah right) mpx the other day, and read through the forums and thought I might as well remove the hack to see how big the memory realllly is.

I followed the instructions, everything went well and the real size was 1.9gb. This was fair enough for me.

HOWEVER, after about 100 tracks (five hundred and somin mbs) it wont take anymore. Says it cant create the directory.

Whats wrong. Is it trying to say its just a 512mb player? cos i've formatted like twice and size shows 1.9gb.

HELP.

Re: Somebody explain me this

Most of these players can only read/support 99 songs per folder. Just right click and make another folder where you put your songs and name the folder something like Music2 then add your other songs to this folder. See if that works. Make sure you only have 99 songs on your player then put the others into the new folder.
