Default Player shutting down

When I got my new dodgy 4Gb player off ebay, I loaded it with about 1.5 GB of mp3`s., of course some of the files got corrupted.Since then it would shut down after a couple of mins. Following the good advice on this site, have fomatted my dodgy 4GB player and is now 1GB. However it still shuts down after a couple of minutes when playing an mp3 track Sometimes it will not fire up at all.Get that damn egg timer then shutdown I have only loaded 50MB on 4 testing so its not overloaded.
Its an ACT2097 S72 1 / 9 0 50
Any clues chaps???

try dumping your firmware using s1res. repairing it and loading it back into your player.

look at the knowledge base section for more information on that.
